I love to hear our guests comments, of course I prefer to receive good reviews but we also learn what can be improved from our guests feedback so I take time each day to read all the comments and personally respond to as many as possible. You can imagine my delight when I came across this recent review on TripAdvisor:
"This was my boyfriend and my second stay here - the first being Jan 2011. We came back as we pride ourselves on outstanding service and quality and I can 100% say that we get it at Astoria. The hotel is not too big so you get a lovely personal service. The location is ideal. You can walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby. The diamond centre (a girl can dream!), fantastic comfortable rooms and a bed like home! Quiet surroundings, no noise - fantastic! Breakfast. Well what can I say? We were here for four nights and we felt like we were at Buckingham Palace. Eggs, bacon, croissants, smoked salmon, fantastic coffee, wonderful fruit and much more. Stuffed until lunchtime. Lovely park across the road, sister hotel Leopold has a bar. 1 min walk away if you want to have a drink nearby. If you really don't want to walk, no problem, buy a beer or wine from the front desk and take up to your room! Astoria has thought of it all. We didn't think twice about leaving London for the weekend to come here. Will be back! Thank you to France and her lovely team.
